Michael J. Weir, Ph.D.

Michael Weir is a Postdoctoral Investigator in the Marine Policy Center at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His current work investigates the economic impact of harmful algal blooms on coastal communities. Michael uses methods from behavioral and experimental economics to study decision-making focused on emerging issues in marine resources, including demand-driven conservation and offshore wind development.
